Inverness Farmers Market

Held on the first Saturday of each month, the market boasts stalls of meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, cheese, homebaking, crafts and gifts in the Eastgate pedestrian area of Inverness city centre.

Snowman Rally

A long standing sporting event in the Highlands, the Snowman Rally is on 5th March 2022 at the Black Isle Show Ground. With a 43 mile track and up to 100 entrants, this is not to be missed!

Half Marathon & 5K

This running event takes place on the 13th March 2022. The city comes alive as its streets fill with jubilant joggers, most of them raising money for many worthy charities.  

The 5K route is flat and scenic alongside the banks of the River Ness in the heart of the Highland capital. Why not give it a go yourself!

Commemoration of Battle of Culloden 

Every year a service is held, this year on 16th April 2022, at the Memorial Cairn on Culloden Battlefield.  Prayers and recitations are said, wreaths and flowers are laid - a very moving and historic day to be a part of. Make it stand out

Loch Ness Etape

A cycle sportive taking place on 24th April 2022 around iconic Loch Ness, offering the chance to cycle 66 miles (106 km) on traffic free roads. The 360° closed-road route around the loch starts and finishes in the Highland capital of Inverness, offering 900 m of ascent.

Even as a spectator, this is quite the event!
