URQUHART CASTLE
Perched on the banks of Loch Ness beside the village of Drumnadrochit, Urquhart Castle is one of the most picturesque landmarks in Scotland and commands wonderful views up the length of the loch. The castle is one of the main sites for reported sightings of the legendary Loch Ness Monster!

2. FALLS OF FOYERS
On the eastern side of Loch Ness are the Falls of Foyers, one of Scotland’s most dynamic and beautiful waterfalls with wonderful views out to the other side of the loch. There are a number of walks in the area and around the falls down to the loch, some of which are path-marked along the way. Keep an eye out for the red squirrels who benefit from a preservation area within the surrounding woodland.
