Yes, a deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking with the balance due and charged 4 weeks before arrival. If your arrival is within 4 weeks, the whole sum will be charged at the time of booking.

While other networks also provide good phone signal, their internet connectivity can sometimes be less consistent.

Absolutely! We love to welcome dogs to Ancarraig. They are charged at £15 each with a maximum of two. Please add your furry friends at check-out when booking.

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate those changes as best as we can. If you need to cancel more than 4 weeks before your arrival, we'll charge a small 10% cancellation admin fee and refund the remainder of your 50% deposit.

For cancellations within 30 days of arrival, the full amount is due unless we're able to resell the dates.

Wi-Fi is provided free of charge, however when many people are trying to share the same line it can be slow and it can be heavily influenced by the weather and/or if the line of sight is interrupted - eg on windy days when the swaying trees interfere with the signal.

Please do not book Ancarraig with expectations of super fast broadband - sadly we do not have it here in the hills above Loch Ness.

Our lodges do not have hot tubs, as we focus on providing a retreat centred around relaxation and a connection with nature rather than luxury amenities. Unfortunately not, but there is a bustling hub of amenities and facilities in the village of Drumnadrochit, just three miles away where you can buy all the supplies and groceries you might need.

To keep our rates as low as possible and maintain full transparency, we charge a cleaning fee that covers the cost of laundering linen and the services of a contract cleaning company that travels from Inverness to Ancarraig Lodges. This allows us to uphold the high standards of cleanliness and comfort you expect, while providing the best value for your stay. Unlike other operators who build this fee into the nightly rate, our one-off fee ensures fairness, whether you're staying for one night or ten.
